A place where the weekly grocery run feels familiar. Where fresh produce is always within reach. Where favourite brands are easy to find, and discovering something new is part of the experience.

For thousands of families across Lahore, that place has been Macca Tower.

Since 1998, Macca Tower has grown from a small neighbourhood convenience store into one of Lahore’s trusted departmental stores. As we launch the very first blog on our website, we thought there was no better place to begin than by sharing the story of how it all started.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN:

Every successful business starts with a simple idea.

For Ali Haider, it started with a question:

Why should families have to visit multiple shops just to buy their everyday essentials?

Back in 1998, there was no proper supermarket in the area. Residents often had to travel elsewhere or visit several different shops just to complete a simple grocery run. Ali Haider saw an opportunity to change that.

With a vision to make shopping easier for local families, he opened a small convenience store with one goal: to bring everything people needed under one roof.

The first Macca Tower was modest, but it was built on something far more important than size friendly service, carefully selected products, and a genuine commitment to the community.

More than 25 years later, those same values continue to guide the business.

GROWING WITH THE COMMUNITY 

As the neighbourhood grew, so did Macca Tower.

What started as a small convenience store gradually expanded into a full departmental store, offering customers more choice while staying true to its original purpose.

Today, shoppers can find fresh produce, bakery items, groceries, imported foods, household essentials, beauty products, baby care, kitchenware, beverages, and much more all in one place.

The shelves may have changed over the years, but the mission hasn’t: making everyday shopping simple, convenient, and reliable.

LOOKING AHEAD

Shopping has changed a lot since 1998, and so have we.

Today, Macca Tower continues to grow by bringing customers a better shopping experience, both in store and online.
